And, for those visiting the site for the first time, here's the low-down;
Predominantly a soft sci-fi writer, the prose of John Birge has
appeared in Revelation Magazine & Silverthought Magazine.
He is currently in Sweden working on a novel, remaining a rebel
without a cause, a shadow without a doubt, a writer without an agent.


UPDATE 2008.02.20. Added link to "A Benevolent Supremacy", avaliable for reading online. The site is still in the process of being re-designed, but is experiencing an unexpected delay in the form of a virus, plus my studies and work-situation is taking its toll. A more comprehensive update to follow.

UPDATE 2007.12.15. Bewildering Stories have accepted my short story "Extinction Burst". I am leading a bourgeois life (at least for now) and a peaceful co-existence with the teeming televised masses of the world.

UPDATE 2007.10.01. “A Benevolent Supremacy” is slated to appear in an upcoming issue of Bewildering Stories. I haven’t done much work in the past month, but the novel is slowly progressing again, and numerous short stories are awaiting completion. The website has been updated and given "happier" colours.
